Power of Jazz!’ is an exhibition of posters depicting outstanding artists from the Polish jazz scene and emerging stars. The exhibition is part of the author’s All that Jazz! series, which has been in the making for nine years. Krzysztof Marcinkiewicz from the Polish Poster Gallery in Wrocław commented on the author’s posters: “Apart from their beautiful form, they have something that has been alive since the inception of the poster as a field of visual communication – their usefulness. Agnieszka’s posters, while still being a separate entity, carry uninterrupted information about an actual jazz event – information about a concert, and this is unique.” The one hundred and seventy or so posters are the first such comprehensive attempt to show portraits of artists active on the Polish jazz scene.
The grand opening will feature a mini-concert by acclaimed composer and pianist – Aleksandra Mońko-Allen.
