Tomasz Pruchnicki Quartet is an atypical ensemble where a synergy between the piano and the Hammond organ merges the opposite poles of the saxophone and drums. The repertoire of pieces composed by Tomasz Pruchnicki is a basis for both individual and collective improvisation by all musicians. The lively music played by TPQ incorporates a dance of the four elements, European jazz music, reminiscences of folk music and live electronics.

Saxophonist, composer, experimenter. Graduate and lecturer of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. Winner of Jazz nad Odrą, Jazz Juniors, Krokus Jazz Festiwal, Big Band Festival in Nowy Tomyśl, Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa, “Rura-Live” in Wrocław, and many other contests.
