We have spent seven editions of the Jazz on the Odra Festival together; however, all good things have to come to an end – today, Leszek Możdżer steps down as the artistic director of the festival.

He will conclude the 57th edition of the Jazz on the Odra Festival with his farewell recital in the Polish Theatre. Leszek Możdżer’s performance is going to be a unique experience, played on two pianos tuned to 442 and 432 Hz, as well as synthesizers. The repertoire will encompass not only pieces from his latest albums, but also fresh releases, giving the audience an opportunity to venture into the world of musical explorations, where a piano has twenty four keys within a single octave, instead of twelve. The listeners are in for an evening filled with audio explorations – an unexpected and unique journey for discerning listeners.

Leszek – thank you for all those years and for your commitment that always went beyond the expectations. Thank you for constantly supporting younger musicians, cheering the contestants, appreciating the organisers, rewarding the volunteers, in a word – thank you for all you have done for us. It was a pleasure having you.

We wish you further successes in the world of music and beyond and we hope that our paths will cross again one day.
