Tribute to Komeda (arr. Andrzej Jagodziński)

April 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Krzysztof Komeda, an outstanding Polish composer, author of music featured in numerous films and an unquestionable pioneer of jazz. Despite his death, his work remains alive, enthralling successive generations and inspiring artists.

Andrzej Jagodziński, an outstanding pianist and arranger, who gained recognition and successes on Polish and international music scene, winner of two prestigious Fryderyk music awards, undertook the extraordinary task of arranging Krzysztof Komeda’s works anew.
