Strefa Kultury Wrocław and the Artistic Council invite you to the auditions of the finalists of the Open Competition for Jazz Individuality in Memory of Wojtek Siwek. This one of the most prestigious and longest-running jazz competitions in Poland, will take place as part of the upcoming 61st edition of the Jazz nad Odrą Festival.
The Grand Prix, awarded by the festival jury, is funded by the President of the City of Wrocław and amounts to 25,000 PLN.
The competition is open to artists and performers who are under 30 years of age and who have not previously won the Grand Prix or individual awards at Jazz nad Odrą in previous years.
The jury’s verdict announcement and awards ceremony will take place on the first day of the Festival at 7:00 PM at Impart Centrum in Wrocław. The Grand Prix winner of the Open Competition for Jazz Individuality in Memory of Wojtek Siwek 2025 will also perform at the concert on April 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM [tickets for the events can be purchased here].
Apart from the Grand Prix funded by the President of Wrocław, additional awards will be announced shortly.
